Future Soldier 

 

 

Future Soldier 2024 organization aims to serve the work of a more agile, more integrated and 

more expeditionary army through technology.

​

Focusing on the present and future of international and national studies

on the future of military systems,  the organization will bring together different perspectives

and practices to address the threats posed by new generation warfare tools.

​

Organized with the vision of increasing the next generation combat capability of the Turkish Army, 

the National Defense Industry and its allies, the organization will also guide the Turkish Defense Sector

for different threats that our military may have to face on the battlefield.

​

The presentations will discuss the latest developments in autonomous systems, portable and wearable technologies, individual equipment, optical and laser systems, sensors and electronic warfare, combat and communications, logistics, energy, modular systems, as well as “Future Soldier” concepts.

The slogan “New World, New War, New Warrior”

was used as the main theme for the organization, as it emphasizes the combat soldier

and reflects military technological changes.

​

The first event was organized by SASAD on December 23, 2008 under the title 'Single Soldier Modernization '.

​

The second event is, The International Future Soldier Conference (IFSC) was organized

internationally by SASAD on October 19, 2021. Despite the pandemic conditions, the event was attended

by approximately 400 people, including representatives from 29 different countries.
